The UV/UVI meter measures the UVA/UVB region from 280-400 nm. UVA and UVB are two wavelengths of ultraviolet (UV) light. The wavelength range of UVA is 320-400 nm, while that of UVB is 280-320 nm.
UVA and UVB light are natural components of sunlight, and too much UV light exposure can lead to serious skin conditions.Use this meter to check UV levels to decide when it's best to do outdoor activities.The right intensity of UVB light helps people and animal produce vitamin D.
