Typically, when a person blows into the alcohol tester, the device measures the concentration of ethanol vapor in the breath. This measurement is then converted into an estimate of blood alcohol concentration (BAC). Different regions have specific legal BAC limits for driving. For example, in China, driving with a BAC of 0.02g/100ml or higher is considered driving under the influence (DUI), while 0.08g/100ml or above is classified as drunk driving.
